Shelby grew up playing competitive soccer in southern California.  She was recruited by Cal State University, Bakersfield, where she competed in four successful collegiate seasons.  Her acomplishments include being named team MVP, holding the womens’ team record for career game appearances, and obtaining a Bachelors’ Degree in Communications. 

Aside from coaching the Brigade G98, Shelby also coaches the Brigade G95 and is working toward the completion of a registered nursing program.
