Bakersfield’s first boys youth 9 soccer team, Brigade Black 98, takes second place at the Thousand Oaks Classic Soccer Tournament.  Although this was the first time coach Ray Sanders and his team of twelve boys had officially played together competively, their debut to tournament club soccer was very successfull.  Congratulations to coach Ray, the boys and their parents!

Bakersfield youth club soccer was well represented by the young men of Brigade Black 98 at the 2007 Anaheim Holiday Classic Soccer Tournament.  After winning Pool A on Sunday, Black 98 progressed to the Championship round and final game against Modesto Ajax Elite.  In a highly competitive and closely fought battle for the U9 boys Championship, Brigade Black 98 took home second place medals and some very pround parents as well.  Congradulations to Roberto, Nick, Zackary, Corbin, Luke, Eddie, Alec, Adrian, Kohl, Carson, Zachary, Hugo and Coach Ray Sanders.
