Gangle to Step Down from Youth Technical Director Position
BAKERSFIELD, CA, August 14, 2006
The Bakersfield Brigade Youth Soccer Club, announced today that Francis Gangle will no longer hold the position of Technical Director within the club.  Joe Montoya will take over as the sole Technical Director for the youth soccer club.  However, Gangle is still scheduled to remain a part of the Brigade coaching staff as head coach of the ’89 White boys team.

“Francis still has a lot to offer our club as a member of our coaching staff,” stated BBYSC Executive Director Jeffrey Thorn.  “It is a shame that our plans with Francis did not work out, but we are confident that Joe Montoya will handle the responsibility of Technical Director with flying colors,” added Thorn.  Montoya, a United States Soccer Federation “B” License coach, was slated to share the responsibility of Technical Director with Gangle.  Now, Montoya will work with BBYSC Director of Coaching, Greg Knittel and the entire BBYSC coaching staff in implementing the club’s developmental curriculum to roughly 20 teams.

The Bakersfield Brigade Youth Soccer Club is a competitive organization that includes roughly 20 boys and girls teams ages Under 11 through Under 19 years old.
