Brigade Prepares for Seahorses
BAKERSFIELD, CA, June 1, 2007

The Bakersfield Brigade Men’s PDL team will be hosting the Southern California Seahorses this Saturday at 7pm at Bakersfield Christian High School.

The Southwestern PDL Conference is jammed packed with talent and the Seahorses (1-4-0) are looking to improve their record on Saturday as they visit the Brigade (3-3-0) on Saturday. The Brigade are coming off a 2-game losing spree as they were handed losses by the San Jose Frogs ((5-1-0) on May 26th and by the San Francisco Seals (3-2-0) on May 28th. “We’re looking to rebound from a terrible showing in the Bay area over the Memorial Day weekend,” stated Vice President and General Manager Joe Jimenez. “The two losses were very disappointing to the club, as the games were never out of our reach and we could have easily left there (bay) with two wins,” added Jimenez.

The Seahorses last played on May 26th and were also handed a loss to the San Francisco Seals. The Seahorses are the defending Southwestern PDL champions and will surely be bringing all their arsenal for this match. With the current Southwestern leader board standings (San Jose Frogs 5-1-0) neither team can afford a loss if they plan to contend for the Division Championship.

“Every game from here on out is very important and anything less than a win will be very disappointing,” stated Brigade Head Coach Francisco Gomez. Our team has an extreme amount of talent and is capable of winning out . . . they just need to believe and trust in one another,” added Gomez
