“It was great to see some of the talent from Bakersfield, as well as some out of town talent this past weekend. The players’ next step is to prove themselves over the course of our training camp and preseason schedule in order to solidify a spot on the team,” stated Bakersfield Brigade Head Coach Jay Gore.

The Brigade had 42 players tryout for their squad on February 25th and 26th of which 22 were selected for the training camp. “Overall our tryouts were a success” stated General Manager Joe Jimenez. “We had a handful of local talent tryout and our goal, every year, is to give our local players a opportunity to play at the next level,” added Jimenez.
The camp will run Tuesday and Thursday nights at Liberty Park during the months of March and April.
