We at the Bakersfield Brigade-Bakersfield’s Premier Soccer Club-are proud to announce the first of our Soccer in the Community advancement programs.
 
The FUNdamental Soccer Clinics are for players age 7-12, Boys and Girls, who are interested in some extra training by our professional coaching staff. These free clinics are designed to help the young player develop their technical skills as well as get age appropriate tactical awareness. We do this through modern, advanced training methods now being implemented in our Brigade Youth soccer program. The players will be learning to Love the beautiful game in a creative, FUNdamental environment.
 
The young player can attend all the FUNdamental Soccer Clinics or just one, what ever fits into your schedule. The Brigade professional coaching staff includes:
 
Marc Riley
Brigade Director of Coaching
18 years professional coaching experience at the youth level.
 
Simon Tobin
Brigade Director of Player Development and CSUB Men’s Head Coach.
 
Nicole Van Dyke
Brigade Girls Technical Director and CSUB Women’s Head Coach.
 
Francisco Gomez
Brigade PDL Head Coach, Brigade Youth Coach and former MLS Cup winner with the KC Wizards.
 
Greg Knittel
Brigade Youth Team Coach, former CSUB player.
 
Ben Graham
Brigade Youth Team Coach and CSUB Asst Coach.
 
Kyle Gookins
Brigade Youth Team Coach and CSUB Asst Coach.
 
And the rest of our professional coaching staff.
 
Please wear appropriate soccer attire, Shin Guards, cleats, etc. Bring water/Gatorade, sun block.
